Artistic installation by the pupils of class 7 c of the Friedrich-Wilhelm-Herschel secondary school in Nuremberg on the façade of the Gençer & Coll. office building in Nuremberg

Human rights banner on the façade of the Gençer & Coll. office building in Nuremberg

During a project run by the Friedrich-Wilhelm-Herschel secondary school in Nuremberg, the pupils of class 7c spent several weeks working on the important role of human rights and addressing the human rights situation in the European Union and worldwide.

A lively round of discussion was conducted in the offices of our law firm, during which the critical aspects of implementing human rights was also highlighted.
In order to visually remind everybody of the importance of human rights, the pupils designed huge banners on which they wrote down the human rights in their native languages, adding hand and footprints.

The prints originated from the idea that the evolution of the hand into a complex organ of touching and gripping constitutes an essential prerequisite for the development of humanity. Since November 2007, the permanent installation of human rights has been on the illuminated façade of our office building in Nuremberg.
