Services provided by litigation funders

Litigation funders will take over the necessary costs of asserting private or commercial claims, out-of-court and in court, usually irrespective of the field of law. In return, they receive a participation (approx. 20-30 %) in the proceeds.
If the pursued result cannot be achieved, the litigation funder will bear all costs incurred for the proceedings, i.e.

• the court costs,
• the costs for the opponent's lawyer,
• the costs for your own lawyer and
• all costs for witnesses and experts.

Do you wish to enforce a payment claim (for instance damages, claims from an inheritance or contractual claims etc.) against a solvent debtor?
Are you discouraged by the litigation costs? In this case, litigation financing may be helpful.

This makes sense if the chances of success are good

Should your law suit have a chance of success and reach a certain value in dispute (approx. € 10,000 to € 500,000), you have the possibility of having your litigation costs financed by a private finance service provider.

We will attend to the formalities

Should you be interested in financing your litigation costs, we will file an application for the takeover of these costs with a suitable funder. The litigation funder will examine all documents as well as the local judicial customs, and will decide for or against a takeover of the costs, depending on the chances of success determined in this manner.

Security due to examination of your case in advance

We will then take over your case and represent you in court. This funding will then be certain in all cases up to the end of the respective instance.As the case has already been assessed by the funder's legal specialists, you will start the litigation proceedings with good chances of success.

By the way: A large number of smaller claims relating to the same range of issues may possibly be combined and asserted, similar to American class action lawsuits, by means of litigation financing.
